  • I have never been a postl worker but my brother was before he began teaching. There is a service provided by USPS that the others would not do for the price of stamps. How about legal documents, checks for those without direct deposit, and some of the junk mail has merit.

  • No Robert you misunderstood what I said. If the GOP tries to force a new tax cut for the rich the President can always veto that if its passed by the House and Senate, which is unlikely. The dems can then fight for their original plan that can be made retroactive back to January.

  • Everyone thinks this is a done deal, its not. The democrats still control both the Senate and the House. If you do not think its a good deal vote "Nay." If after January the GOP tries to force something through let the Senate unite and as a last stop remember the President can veto it all.

  • BP is not bent on stopping the oil but recovering the oil. The difference is one way loses money the other makes as much money as possible

  • First, BP ignored or short changed basic safety precautions. Second, the President can not order a private company as many have suggested and the oil spill is not the only problem the POTUS must address on a daily basis.
